This is something of a work in progress. The blade hasn’t been heat treated. Something about it made me want to take a photo and post about it as a work in progress.
Really, to be accurate, it’s a karambit. That’s just me being nitpicky at myself
This is the latest work in progress. The handle and guard are still rough-sanded, and I’m wondering if the hamon will be a work in progress until I die. Self-teaching finger polishing might be the death of me.

W-1 tool steel slim knife
The stats are as follows…
Padauk handle, white bronze guard, W-1 tool steel blade (hand forged, semi-trad polishing as mentioned), and an OAL of just about 9.5 inches. There’s a line of gray epoxy between the bronze and the wood that happens to act as a spacer, and looks pretty nice in my opinion, even it I didn’t intend it to be there.
