I’ll be vending again, under this name rather than Threeravensringo, as I’ve expanded a bit beyond just sharpening.
There will be between 9 and 10 knives of my making available for sale at the event. The prices range from $40, upward. If things go well this weekend, I might be able to put out one more knife, but I can assure you that it will be the most expensive one on my table at $300.
If my current shipment arrives from Japan before the event, I will also have two, full-size, natural sharpening stones for sale. The will be Iyoto stones, much like the “rice stones” that I will have on the table.
Iyoto are not readily available here in the US, and if you are a woodworker, knife maker, knife collector, straight razor fancier or some other person that likes sharp blades, you really should consider snagging one. I’m going to do my best to keep the prices on the full stones under $50. I can’t express to you how they perform; you really need to use them to understand.
Will I still be offering my sharpening services? Absolutely, yes. If you poke around a few posts down, you’ll find my prices and policies. So, please bring your blades that are in need of attention and I’ll do my very best to give you the edge you crave. (Oh, I will also be using some of the new polishing stones that I’ve obtained from Japan. Considering that they’re the same stones that are used for polishing the edges of Samurai swords, things may get very interesting!)
